Yes, we are a part of the Petland family of stores. We have shifted our operating model to a concierge level of service, connecting loving homes with the puppy or kitten of their dreams. This allows us to focus on serving you well and providing the highest level of humane care for the animals.
Where do your pets come from?
Dream Tails carefully selects and curates our breeding partners. We work with a network of licensed breeders across the country so we can offer registered, intentionally bred puppies and kittens from excellent bloodlines and caring facilities. Our animals have been checked by veterinarians before they arrive in our store and are continually monitored by a veterinarian while they are in our care.
Make a Reservation
I’d like to meet a specific puppy or kitten. How do I do that?
We invite you to book an appointment with us so you can come in and meet the puppy/kitten. Appointments ensure there is a space available for you to visit with the puppy or kitten of your dreams and to guarantee you receive a concierge level of service by a pet concierge team member.
How do reservations work?
Reservations can be either 30 minutes or 1 hour. We are happy to introduce you to as many puppies or kittens during that time as you would like to meet. We want you to find the pet of your dreams.
To make a reservation, click here. Once you’ve made your registration, we will text you a confirmation, making it easy for you to confirm and/or change it if need be.
Can I put a puppy on hold?
Yes! You may place a deposit to ensure that the puppy or kitten of your dreams is here when you arrive. It’s $500 and fully refundable as long as you show up for your reservations or cancel at least two hours in advance. Please call our store and we would be happy to help you through the process.
What happens if I make an reservation and the pet I want is no longer available?
The best way to prevent this is to put a deposit on a specific puppy or kitten. Deposits hold that puppy or kitten for up to 48 hours through your reservation time. No shows on reservation do come with a $50 cancellation fee, but if you meet the puppy or kitten and decide a different pet makes your dreams come true, we will happily transfer the deposit to the other pet. Please call our store and we would be happy to help you through the process.
How long should I plan to be at the Boutique if my dreams come true?
Your visit with us is designed to help you find the puppy or kitten of your dreams. Throughout the appointment booking process, we have a series of questions around timing, payment preference, and group size that can help you determine how to plan your time best and what type of appointment we can make for you.
What happens if I don’t find the puppy or kitten I want today?
We will be sad but determined! We are happy to connect with our network of certified breeders to see if we can locate a puppy or kitten for you.
No Reservation
What if I don’t want to make a reservation?
We do keep a couple of socialization rooms available for those who visit us without an appointment and are hoping to meet the puppy or kitten of their dreams. It’s on a first-come, first-served basis, so we can’t guarantee availability, but we are happy to put you in one of those rooms as quickly as one becomes available.
I just want to come in and play with puppies. Can I do that?
Yes. If there are available rooms or puppy play yards, we welcome guests to come and socialize our puppies. We do ask that you spend time with our puppies that haven’t had a chance to play today and we can reserve a room or play yard for you for 30 minutes.
I am looking for a specific breed of puppy or kitten, but I don’t see any on your website. Do you have any?
If we don’t have the specific breed of puppy or kitten you are dreaming of, we would be happy to check to see if we have any coming to the Boutique soon. We work with licensed breeders across the country. We can notify you as soon as we know that breed of puppy or kitten is on its way to our store. If there aren’t any, we can contact our breeders to see about reserving one for you.
Do you sell small pets (fish, hamsters, birds, ferrets)?
We do not sell small animals as we have shifted our operating model to be a concierge service connecting loving homes with the puppy or kitten of their dreams. This allows us to focus on serving you well and providing the highest level of humane care for the animals.

I see the pet of my dreams on your website. Is it still available?
Yes! If the puppy or kitten of your dreams is on our website, they are available! They have been checked by our veterinarian, is healthy, and comes from a great breeder.

Your puppies and kittens are more expensive than what I have seen in other places. Why?
At Dream Tails Boutique, we offer registered, intentionally bred puppies and kittens from excellent bloodlines and caring facilities. We have met with and visited our breeders and know exactly where they come from. We also offer concierge level service to ensure we connect loving homes with the puppy or kitten of their dreams. We truly want to understand your needs so we can serve you well while providing the highest level of humane care for the animals.
Our service and environment are designed to match their high quality and meet your expectations. We think the puppies and kittens are worth it and so are you!
Do you offer financing options?
We do offer several types of financing. You may either apply for financing in advance online or we will create a special appointment for you to ensure there is enough time to complete the application. It typically takes about 90 minutes if you would like to apply for financing on site. For those who pay with cash or their own credit card, we offer a choice of several complimentary items, and it will be a much faster process for you.
Concierge Delivery
I am not able to come to your store, but I have found the puppy or kitten on my dreams on your website! OR – I am not able to take the puppy home with me immediately. Do you offer delivery options?

We do offer concierge delivery services. Please contact our store and we can send you the options so you can select the one that serves you best. Concierge delivery includes a non-refundable service fee based on distance, method of travel, and breed/size of animal. Please contact us for more information.
Puppy Perks
Are the puppies microchipped?
Yes. All of our puppies go home with a microchip and lifetime microchip enrollment from Findpet. Learn more about Findpet’s microchips and lost pet protection efforts here.
